Heart vs. Mind

Sometime back I wrote about Heart and Mind and tried to conclude that we don’t regret actions dictated by the heart, while those through the mind could be insincere and manipulated.

Well said, I thought. But there are practical difficulties in implementation. The route the heart takes would still be the right one, but can we ignore the people standing by that route. How many of them get affected, how many of them would get hurt. Can the heart ignore them, totally?

There lies the issue. Should we look at a middle path, instead of the idealistic pursuit killing everyone on the way?

It is human that some people are liked more than many others. There could be a situation where one person in that group of liked people is liked more than anyone else.

We are now talking about two people. In a purist state if the two people like each other, then like attracts like and the issue would look simple. But that may not be the case always.

One of them and sometimes both of them have others involved with ties designed to be eternal.

Harvard study spanning 75 years on relationships suggested that it would be better to break below par relationship than face the prospect of unhappy and curtailed life. It’s easy said than done.

Here is where a golden heart appears on the scene. The heart understand the feeling of everybody and find satisfaction in personal sacrifice for the sake of order.

Heart is meant to be able to absorb the unimaginable. The symbol of the heart of love is an arrow piercing the heart. Do we feel pain when seeing that symbol? Of course not! We feel happy! We see love..What does it mean then?

Heart can take anything and still make you happy. It allows you to be you and with your people while beating silently…

Now listen to it when you are alone

Does it sing the Selena song?

“I can’t control it (it gets excited).                            It doesn’t reason anymore.                                       And It starts to sing to me.                                          It sings to me like this, like this.                              Bidi bidi bom bom (bidi bidi bom bom).                  bidi bidi bom bom bidi bidi bom bom

You hear that? Oh yah… then do something

And you don’t want to hurt anyone… try this..

Have an object, even insignificant in value like a small stone… but the most valuable possession for you. Keep it close to the heart every day when you are alone and the heart will speak to it and pour out everything. Your secrets.

Over a period the now powerful object will find its match, listening to bidi bidi bom bom; bidi bidi bom bom

Don’t think so? then read this definition (not my definition, I got it while reading on the net).

‘A soulmate is not necessarily a lover or your life partner. A soulmate can be anyone in your life who has a great positive influence on you. Every single person that we deem to be “significant” truly is exactly that, for their vibrational essence is blending with ours and together we are creating a unique energy. It is believed that the soul radiates all about the physical body, what some refer to as an aura. When you connect with another person spiritually and become completely open and trusting with that individual, your two souls begin to flow together. Should such a deep bond to be formed, it is said you have found your soulmate. We are all joined in an ancient and eternal union with humanity that cut across all barriers of time, convention, philosophy and definition. When you are blessed with a soulmate, you have arrived at that most sacred place: home. This is a place so sacred that you open up completely to your soulmate. A soulmate can be a guru, a parent, a friend or your lover”
