Countdown

I am on a countdown mode. One year went smoothly for the so called second innings in work life and it’s less than that period remaining for the tasks to finish.

In fact countdown is something I use effectively during long duration flights. When the flying time is, say over 12 hours, the first half is relatively easy and can include two movies on the 10″ screen.

And for someone like me who can’t sleep in flight unless on flat bed, it’s difficult to navigate the second half. That’s when countdown comes to the rescue. It’s easier to count down to 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 – landed.

I am on countdown in months on the job front. Retire afterwards? NO NO. Job full time? NO again. Farming? Yes but absentee farming!

Do nothing! Of course not

Consulting- business review  (2 months in one business) in my area of expertise, selecting exotic locations like Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, Africa, Mauritius, Seychelles, Bermuda!

That’s it then, farming, travel, consulting and of course fishing.

Above all holidays with family 😊

  1. Countdowns can be very excruciating if at the end of it you are expecting something very exciting and pleasant! And you rare dying to get there! Then there are occasions when one wants the time to pass very fast and very slow at he same time, eg. countdown to your own wedding ie. When you are expectant and apprehensive at the same time. Countdown to retirement, even if it is partial retirement must be a pleasurable experience, according to me. Time to concert isle your future plans, Kurian. Get going.
