Avocado is not a popular tree in Kerala, but it’s changing. I have a clear desire to include this exotic tree in my planting plans in Thidanad.
Members of my Whats app Broadcast Group “Cooking Exotica & Fitness” must remember the number of times Avocado products have figured in my broadcasts
For one, its the Avocado juice.
Scooped avocado in Nutribullet with milk and honey
Guacamole, the all time favorite
Breakfast
Salad
Avacado Paratha
Many options for healthy meal.. thanks for sharing..

I fell in love with them the first time I visited US – I didn’t know they can be grown in India. All the best for your efforts 🙂

Plenty in Lulu. I have seen in Nucleus mall also. Raw ones are coming, and it’s to be kept for a few days. When it become soft, the flesh can be scooped out with a spoon. Careful it doesn’t become too ripe, then it will turn dark and useless.
Enjoy 👌🌹❤️

I don’t like the taste of avocado by itsefl, it leaves a strange after-taste in the mouth, but I love making guacamole, which is always there in my refrigerator, ready to be smothered onto breads, rotis, parathas or with even chips. I just wish Avocados were grown more so they stop being so expensive in India.

Yes Pradita. It’s an acquired taste and expensive.
Please try the avacado smoothie with scooped avacado with milk, ice and honey in a juicer. I love it

How did you find it? If you are yet to do it, probably you would do well to add honey or sugar somewhat liberally to enjoy
