It was nice to see yesterday the return of the migratory birds. I believe even the cranes from Siberia visit these waters every year.
I am quite fascinated by the concentration and dedication of the birds in the picture when they search for food. Their long beaks go down deep in search of food.
It’s fascinating to sit in the balcony and watch the winged tourists displaying their skills and strategy in fishing.
They are beautiful

Took me down to a memory lane when I used to watch birds and try to know their home land. Migration is such a beautiful concept – you travel places to escape the cold of your home only to find warmth at the end of season at the same place. Like returning to home is the only concept nature conspires us to believe in. What may occur, what may not, everything leads to home.❤️
Thank you for sharing. The picture is as lovely as your thought.😊

I never thought about Siberia being the other end of Indian bird migration. Here, of course, it is very northern Canada.

I checked and apparently the belief is that they fly over Khasksthan and Afghanistan to reach India
