We would think we are free in a free country guaranteeing basic human rights. I thought so. But that’s not entirely true- in a good way.
You can be completely free if you want. But there would be situations where you are obliged to be behaving in a certain way.
Sunu and I are on a holiday in Mauritius. There’s an young couple, very cute ones at that, who happened to be in our group for visiting various touristic locations.
Yesterday, one couple in the tour group told me that your family members have gone that side. He thought that we were family.
And this morning in the bus the youngsters told us that they were discussing us last night and they want to be like us when they reach our stage.
Role models, that’s a big responsibility. We need to maintain a standard. That’s expected.
I try to remember that young people are observing us a lot of the time. I appreciate that the way you and your wife were interacting made them want to emulate you.
